AIRPORT MEETING ARRANGEMENTS FOR INCOMING FLIGHTS

HEATHROW TERMINAL 1

Due to the increasing amount of time that it takes for baggage to come through at Terminal 1 and in view of rising car park costs, we now feel it necessary to revise our meeting arrangements for Terminal 1. On emerging from the Customs Hall into the Arrivals Hall please telephone our representative on mobile 'phone number 07855 895164. Then walk straight ahead past the Airport Information Desk on your right and take one of the lifts to the upper level (Departures). At Departures level go outside the building, cross over the bus and taxi lane to the car drop-off point. At the other side of that is a glass partition beyond which is a slightly lower additional drop-off area which is about 4 feet lower than the Departures level. Please go down the trolley slope to this level where your car should arrive a few minutes after you get there.

HEATHROW TERMINAL 1 INTERNAL FLIGHTS

As the internal flights come in on the upper level at Terminal 1, we suggest that as soon as you are getting your suitcases from the baggage claim, you telephone our driver on mobile 'phone number 07855 895164 and meet outside in the waiting area above the Terminal 1 car park. From the baggage claim go out to the Arrivals Hall, turn right past the waiting people and go out one of the main doors, cross over the bus and taxi lane to the car drop-off point. At the other side of that is a glass partition beyond which is a slightly lower additional drop-off area which is about 4 feet lower than the Departures level. Please go down the trolley slope to this level where your car should arrive a few minutes after you get there.

HEATHROW TERMINAL 2

Peter or his representative will wait in the coffee bar which is on the mezzanine floor (not the little coffee stall just opposite where you emerge from the Customs Hall). If you go up the trolley slope to the mezzanine floor you will see him waiting halfway up that holding a yellow card with "Peter Waugh Car Hire" written on it. If you do not spot him immediately, by far the quickest way to find him is to ring his mobile on 07855 895164, for which you will need 50p/£1. However, if this is not convenient, please go to the Information Desk, page him and meet there.

HEATHROW TERMINAL 3

Due to the increasing amount of time that it now takes for baggage to come through at Terminal 3 and in view of rising car park costs we have now felt it necessary to completely revise our meeting arrangements for Terminal 3. In future our cars will not be taken into the car park, but will wait outside until the customer clears Customs. We would then ask our customers, using 50p/£1, to ring our driver on mobile 'phone number (07855 895164) which will then enable him to arrive outside the terminal within ten minutes. This will save time for both parties.

The attachment below is a diagram of the route through the terminal to the outside meeting point. From the Customs Hall go into the Arrivals Hall, face the Information Desk, turn to the right, go along the Arrivals Hall until you see a door on the left marked "Check-In", go outside to the passenger drop-off area, walk along the outside of the DEPARTURES building to the pedestrian crossing underneath the black glass-sided bridge to the car park, cross to the first drop-off island and look for us there. Your car will be displaying a yellow card in the windscreen with "Peter Waugh Car Hire" written on it.

HEATHROW TERMINAL 4

Due to the increasing amount of time that it now takes for baggage to come through at Terminal 4, we have now felt it necessary to revise our meeting arrangements for this terminal as we did with one of the other terminals last year. In future our cars will not be taken into the car park, but will wait outside until the customer clears Customs. We would then ask you, using 50p or £1, to ring our driver on my mobile 'phone number (07855 895164) which would then enable him to arrive outside the terminal within a few minutes.

On emerging from Customs into the Arrivals Hall, turn right past all the waiting people until you arrive at the door on the left which is adjacent to the Airport Information Desk. Go through that door, across the pedestrian crossing going over 2 bus lanes until you reach the private car lane, which is immediately before the short term car park pay machines. If you turn to the right, your hire car will be waiting at the beginning of the drop-off pavements, i.e. at the bottom of the slope from the Terminal 4 entrance. Your car will be displaying a yellow card on the windscreen with "Peter Waugh Car Hire" written on it.

GATWICK NORTH TERMINAL

GATWICK SOUTH TERMINAL

Due to the increasing amount of time that it now takes for baggage to come through at Gatwick South Terminal, we have now felt it necessary to revise our meeting arrangements for this terminal as we did with one of the other terminals last year. In future our cars will not be taken into the car park, but will wait outside until the customer clears Customs. We would then ask you, using 50p or £1, to ring our driver on my mobile 'phone number (07855 895164) which would then enable him to arrive outside the terminal within a few minutes.

On emerging from Customs into the Arrivals Hall, turn right past all the waiting people, go past the Airport Information desk on your left, turn left and follow the "Way Out" sign. At the end of the moving walkway, just before you emerge onto the upper roadway, turn left down the sloping walkway which spirals down to the ground level. Turn left at the road and you will see the bus stop for the hotel courtesy coaches. Your car will be opposite these. (Please note that you must descend to ground level as we do not take our vehicles onto the more congested Departures level.)
