MEETING POINTS FOR RETURN OF CARS TO HEATHROW OR GATWICK
TERMINAL 1 HEATHROW Follow signs for Terminal 1. Drive up the long, left-sweeping ramp to the Departures level, keeping in the left-hand lane. At the top the road turns left as only buses can go straight ahead. The left-hand lane goes down a short slope where there are more drop-off pavements. Our representative will wait at the beginning of these pavements.
TERMINAL 2 HEATHROW Follow signs for Terminal 2 and meet on the drop-off pavement furthest away from the terminal building. This is at ground level. Our representative will wait approximately in the centre of the pavement.
TERMINAL 3 HEATHROW Follow signs for Terminal 3. As you approach the terminal building ahead of you the road turns to the right and there are two drop-off pavements. Our representative will wait in the centre of these two pavements by the pedestrian crossing.
TERMINAL 4 HEATHROW Follow the signs for the terminal. Go up the ramp leading to the upper Departures level. At the top of the ramp the road swings to the right and the drop-off pavements begin. Our representative will wait at the beginning of the pavements.
GATWICK SOUTH TERMINAL Follow signs to South Terminal and then Arrivals/Car Rental Returns. The road turns right and you will see the offices of the major car rental companies on your left. Our drop-off point is opposite these where our representative will wait. If you have mistakenly gone up the ramp to the Departures Level where it is much more congested, please go round the block and come back again to the ground level.
GATWICK NORTH TERMINAL Follow signs to North Terminal and then Arrivals. The road turns to the right and just past the entrance door to the Arrivals Hall (on your left) you will see the offices of the major car rental companies on your right. Please meet on the left opposite there. It is the same point from which you would have collected the car if you had arrived at the North Terminal.
GENERAL NOTE Please try to arrive at the return point at the arranged time. If you are going to be very early and wish to park the car in the car park, it would be greatly appreciated if you could collect the car from the car park and meet our representative at the arranged place and time as he or she may not be able to recognize you if you are on foot (obviously we will recognize our own cars).
If, for some reason, you are going to be later than about twenty minutes after the meeting time, it would be appreciated if you could telephone our representative on mobile 07855 895164 (if possible) to let us know that you will be late. If you arrive at the terminal on time and our representative is not there by 10 or 15 minutes after the arrival time and you feel anxious about checking in, please park the car in the relevant car park, leave the keys and car park ticket on the driver's sun visor, leave the car UNLOCKED and telephone our representative to inform them of the floor and block number where the car is parked. The car can then be collected by us later.
